Oxfam Bold Street
This well spaced, well-organised charity shop has a gorgeous collection of curated secondhand clothes including plenty of nineties and Y2K vintage (yes that’s classed as vintage nowadays, and yes you are getting old).
There’s also some finds from further back in the cabinets and dotted about the stands. This is not a rummaging, house-clearance style charity shop (at least where the clothes are concerned) and the prices reflect it. It’s still cheaper than buying new though, particularly when you consider the quality of some of the labels.
They also have a good selection of secondhand books, DVDs, and records. There’s not as much effort gone into the curation here, which means prices are cheaper – you could get lucky riffling through their £2.50 LPs and 70p singles.
Open: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
