ReMarket
ReMarket, a Manchester-grown multi-vendor vintage store, opened up on the thoroughfare between Piccadilly Gardens and Piccadilly Station in autumn 2024. The brain child of experienced vintage sellers Tony Shun and Sophie Jones, it gives small independents a chance to sell from a physical shop without the crippling barriers of long term leases and unaffordable rent. For some vendors, this is their first bricks and mortar retail space. For others such as Blue Rinse, it’s one of several outlets in the city.
The variety of vendors housed in ReMarket gives it a wide appeal – you’ll find everything from plastic jewellery at Cherry Vintage to Italian designer coats at Some Luck Vintage. There’s a fairly even mix of womenswear, menswear and unisex plus a ‘rent a rail’ section for up-and-coming designers and casual sellers who have limited stock and limited time (the ReMarket team handles the sales for you so you don’t need to be there in person).
Stalls to look out for include Blackburn-born menswear seller Me to a Tee which sells labels such as Stone Island, CP Company and vintage Adidas, and top Depop seller Blank Seams which trades in timeless classics from labels including Ralph Lauren, Carhartt and Levi’s.
