The Hollies Farm Shop Lower Stretton
With vegetables so fresh they could have been dug up from the field that morning, homemade pies and sausage rolls, and all manner of deli bits and bobs, The Hollies Farm Shop Lower Stretton is the perfect place for a special weekend food shop.
The highlight for us is The Hollies butchery with award-winning products like hickory and maple cured bacon and the ultimate steak burger. This isn’t vac-packed butchery but prime cuts of Welsh black beef and salt marsh lamb, prepared for you by real qualified butchers.
There’s also a café on-site which makes good use of the ingredients sold in the shop. Expect casual lunches like sausage and sticky onion marmalade sandwich with mustard ketchup, salmon and dill omelette or salt and pepper chicken skewers with salad.
There’s a gift barn too for wooden toys, homeware, jewellery, beauty potions and lotions, cards and some exquisite Christmas decorations. It’s the kind of quirky stuff you don’t find in major retailers.
If you like the sound of The Hollies Farm Shop in Lower Stretton, they also have another site at Little Budworth, near Tarporley.
