Camp and Furnace
Camp and Furnace is a huge events space with a capacity of 2200. With its two warehouse spaces, this place takes up an entire block making it ideal for large-scale events like indoor festivals and massive club nights.
Regular events include an array of themed mega-quizzes covering topics as diverse as The Big Bang Theory and Harry Potter. Just wait for your niche nerd night to come up. There are numerous tribute nights too featuring everything from George Michael-alikes to Radiohead rip-offs.
There are plenty of one-off events too like a massive Christmas shindig and a New Year’s Eve party. Basically, if there’s an occasion, it’s likely to be celebrated in a big way at Camp and Furnace – there’s nothing muted or half-arsed about this place.
It has an industrial charm and with its Victorian architecture there’s a lot more soul here than you’d expect for somewhere the size of an Amazon depot, an enormous out-of-town supermarket or Bill Gates’ house. If you’re going big with private hire, this is as big as it gets.
