Swanley Meadows is a tipi wedding and events venue set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

It’s fully licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, and services take place in the open air under a 200-year old beech tree.

The tucked-away location is practical and accessible yet retains the feel of a hidden rustic paradise. It’s such a romantic setting.

With four giant hat tipis surrounded by natural open space, there’s room to have the wedding you want. The seated dining capacity is 150 and the standing reception capacity is 200 guests.

Weddings include exclusive use of the whole venue so you can make the day your own. Whether you’re looking for relaxed rural luxury or boho festival style, Swanley Meadows is a distinctive and memorable choice.

Choose your own catering so you can enjoy whatever food you like. Whilst Swanley Meadows can offer advice and recommendations on everything from live music to flowers, it’s a great opportunity to get hands on and choose everything you want for your own wedding. You can even bring your dog.

The bar is a cool and quirky airstream trailer and accommodation is fun too; glamping in a series of luxury bell tents with a gorgeous mini moon bell tent for the wedding couple. There is also a range of guests houses and cottages located nearby if you prefer not to camp.

For wedding inspiration in the middle of the beautiful countryside, don’t miss Swanley Meadows’ Spring Wedding Fayre on Sunday 17 May.

This free event is a chance to explore everything you might need for your big day – including the potential venue.

Meet a carefully hand-picked group of local suppliers, from stylists and photographers to cake makers and florists.

There are two times, an afternoon slot from midday – 3pm and an evening session from 8pm – 10pm.

It’s free but make sure you book in advance for your goody bag and glass of fizz.
