Liverpool Arab Arts Festival

Festivals

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival is the UK’s longest-running Arab cultural festival championing the best homegrown and international artists. With visual arts, music, dance, film, theatre, literature and workshops, it’s a great way to engage with contemporary Arab culture.

There’s a mixture of both free and ticketed events; check the website for details.

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival 2025

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival 2025 runs from Friday 11 July to Sunday 20 July at venues across the city. The theme for this year is Nostalgia and acts announced include Akram Abdulfattah who will be bringing his unique fusion of jazz, Middle Eastern and Indian music to the Philharmonic Music Room. And visual artist Nour Bishouty (pictured) who will be exhibiting at the Walker Art Gallery.

As always, the festival finishes in style with the interactive, hands-on family celebration day at the Palm House in Sefton Park.
