Zip World Manchester
If you’re looking for a fun way to get outside and get active, try Zip World Manchester at Heaton Park. It’s a chance to feel the breeze on your face and face your fears on a high-rope aerial adventure in the woods.
Zip World Manchester is an exhilarating, obstacle-filled trail with zip wires criss-crossing through the woodland canopy, reaching heights of 15m from the ground. It takes around two hours and is suitable for ages seven and up.
There’s also a Mini Trek which is a little closer to the ground. It’s suitable for ages five and up but still includes plenty of zip-wire excitement and aerial challenges.
If you’re not much of an adrenaline junkie, book the Treetop Nets instead where you can bounce and play on nets, slides, tunnels and treehouses or cause havoc with giant balls. The Treetop Nets sessions last two hours and are suitable for ages three and up.
Check supervision ratios for the different activities before you book.
It’s a popular place for kids parties. Various birthday packages are available for different age groups, from three upwards.
There is no café at Treetop Trek but there’s one in Heaton Park about a five minute walk away. There are also plenty of places to eat in Prestwich itself.
