The Bierkeller Liverpool

The Bierkeller Liverpool is one of the best bars in Liverpool if you’re looking for a lively party atmosphere or somewhere to watch sport on the big screen – you can play it too with pool, darts, beer pong and shuffleboard.

It’s divided into three main areas as well as the large outdoor terrace. The Bierkeller is the main part with long, sociable communal tables and Bavarian party entertainment. This is where to come for lederhosen and live music.

The Lodge is more of a relaxed hangout, taking its inspiration from ski chalets. It’s more of a cocktail than a stein of lager sort of place – although you can get the cocktails in steins too.

Shooters is a sports bar with screens showing live sport just about everywhere you look including on a huge projector screen. Sometimes they’re showing three different matches at once. Expect the atmosphere and camaraderie of the terraces but a better view and more beer.

Outside, it’s The Biergarten with lots of tables in the sun.
