Peaky Blinders
Peaky Blinders is a cocktail bar and pub with food which pays homage to the hit TV series starring Cillian Murphy. The show was famously set in Birmingham but several classic scenes were filmed in Manchester, hence our mild obsession with it here.
You’ll find the 1920s-themed Peaky Blinders bar opposite the Great Northern Warehouse just off Deansgate. It’s a buzzy place known for its live performers and party atmosphere. (Peaky Blinders is part of a boozy trio of big-night-out venues on this stretch of Peter Street, with Albert’s Schloss on one side and and Revolution de Cuba on the other).
There’s an extensive cocktail menu, drinks packages, and the option to buy bottles for the table: Grey Goose vodka, Havana rum and so on. If you want to get the party started early, go for their bottomless brunch, served on a Instagram-friendly, three-tier tray.
The Peaky Blinders restaurant serves elevated pub classics like pan fried king scallops and slow-cooked lamb shank. Their giant Sunday roast sharer platter is a popular option for a weekend meet-up over food.
