Baan Phad Thai
Baan Phad Thai is a family-run restaurant which specialises in showcasing the cuisine of the Isaan region of North-East Thailand. The dishes are rustic and homely, giving an honest, authentic flavour of South East Asia.
Service is really friendly and if you’re not familiar with Thai cooking, the mother-and-son duo behind Baan Phad Thai are more than happy to guide diners through the menu.
And what a menu. Confidential Guides loves the drunken noodles and the roasted chilli paste fried rice. The stir fry selection is also impressive with an honourable mention for the crispy duck in tamarind and the garlic and black pepper stir fry.
Of course, you don’t call your place Baan Phad Thai if your Phad Thai’s not up to scratch. This restaurant has certainly earned its name.
