Rabbies Thai
Rabbies Thai is an unlikely favourite known for serving one of the best bowls of pad thai anywhere in Manchester. And where can you find this authentic food experience? In a small unit in the heart of Wythenshawe Civic Centre.
With friendly service, fresh food that packs a real flavour punch, and loyal customers, it’s easy to see why Rabbies has become a bit of a social media sensation. So much so it’s been nominated for Affordable Eats Venue of the Year at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards 2025.
The menu may be limited but this is gutsy food made with heart. The pad thai is a proper classic; many mediocre chain imposters have given the Thai national dish a bad name but at Rabbies you can see why it deserves to be a culinary treasure.
Other highlights are the guay teo noodle soup and the Rabbies grilled chicken with white rice or ginger rice – get there early for this one because it’s usually a sell out. You can also spice things up with Rabbies’ own chilli sauce. Watch this space – it will be available to buy very soon.
