Fold Bistro & Bottle Shop
Fold is more than just a simple neighbourhood restaurant. The food is inventive, quirky and full of spark.
It has all the trademarks you’d expect of a quality Modern British operation with local sourcing, premium ingredients and an ever-changing menu of small plates.
You may come across dishes like Carlingford oysters with yuzu jam or the still more intriguing oyster-less oysters with wild oyster leaf providing the saline tang of the beautiful bivalve.
Apart from snacks, the menu is divided into cold and hot plates. Expect things like English burrata with toasted pear, crispy rosemary, hazelnuts and miso, or a take on a lamb hotpot with ravioli of lamb and a Boddington’s gravy emulsion.
The menu has been developed by executive chef Ryan Stafford, who trained at the Cordon Bleu and has previously worked for Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver. Head chef is Jake Rossington who took the helm at George’s Worsley before moving here.
As well as a restaurant, Fold bills itself as a bottle shop stocking curated natural, organic, and classic wines so you can call in to pick up some wine to take home, or enjoy an excellent selection with your meal.
