Great North Pie Co
The Great North Pie Co has recently opened its new home in the city centre, offering a modern take on traditional pie and mash. With booth-style seating for 20 inside and an outdoor area for up to 30, the new venue offers amazing views of the Kampus garden and canal.
The seasonal menu features four butter-pastry pies, made with the highest quality ingredients from North West producers. Each pie on the menu is served with a variety of sides, including buttery mash or chips, cauliflower cheese, pickled red cabbage, and mushy peas, all served with roast onion and brown sauce gravy or the house curry sauce.
The menu also features weekly comfort food specials such as lamb and pea steamed suet puddings, corned beef hash, Lancashire Hot Pot, and keema and chips. The drinks menu has been designed to complement the pies, with matching beers and wines, including Manchester Union Lager on draft.
For those who just can’t get enough of Great North Pie Co’s pies, the brand’s famous handcrafted pies, which have been voted the Best Pie in Britain, are also available to take away, ready to be heated at home. The pie brand supplies pubs and restaurants nationwide and also supplies to popular establishments such as Booths, Robinsons Brewery, Manchester City Football Club, Stockport County FC, and more.
Great North Pie Co has locations in Lake District’s Ambleside and Altrincham Market, and their products can also be found at monthly farmers markets in Urmston, Knutsford, Northwich, Altrincham, Chester, Wilmslow, Chorlton, Bakewell, Macclesfield, and West Didsbury.
