Groobarb’s Wild Farm & Field Kitchen
Groobarbs Wild Farm & Field Kitchen comes from the brains behind Groobox; a Cheshire-based fruit and veg delivery box service.
Farmer David and his wife Rebecca built the restaurant on their agricultural land in Knutsford to showcase the fresh produce they grow and farm daily. They live by the mantra; ‘If we can plant it, we grow it’.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, guests can visit their converted barn kitchen, look out over the fields, and enjoy a field-to-fork experience with a five-course set menu. On Sundays a three-course feast is served. Seating is across long, communal tables for added atmosphere and a sense of community.
The fruit and veg on the rotating seasonal menus are picked just a few yards away from their kitchen to ensure absolute freshness. Go at different times of the year and you’ll find new dishes you haven’t tried before. The mains are served either vegetarian or with meat, depending on your preference.
Children under the age of four dine for free and youngsters aged five to 12 get their meals for half price. It’s a great way to introduce them to new veggies.
Groobarbs Wild Farm & Field Kitchen is strictly bookings only to avoid food wastage.
