Manahatta Manchester

Manahatta is a New York-inspired cocktail bar on Deansgate. It’s well known for its party atmosphere, great drinks and bottomless brunches. The food menu focuses on American classics like burgers, dogs and BBQ chicken as well as healthier options like the superfood burger and the lean green powerbowl.

It’s a food selection that covers all bases with ingredients ranging from spirulina to sirloin. There is also a decent offering for vegans and veggies on the clean eating part of the menu.

However, it’s mainly about the cocktails and you’ll find everything from a Greenpoint Manahatta (a Brooklyn take on the classic whiskey drink, the Manhattan) to the totally tropical Cake by the Ocean.

With cocktails the mainstay, expect some good value 2-4-1 cocktail offers and cocktail masterclasses too. A cocktail is also an essential accompaniment to any self-respecting bottomless brunch. Typical dishes on the menu at Manahatta include poached eggs with smoked salmon on sourdough or bubble waffle with buttermilk crispy breadcrumbed chicken, bacon and maple syrup – just calling out for a Bloody Mary or an Aperol Spritz.
