Restaurant Orme
Restaurant Örme is a small fine-dining restaurant situated on an inconspicuous street in Urmston. But don’t be fooled by its humble size and location – this is a restaurant that means business.
It serves a seasonally-changing tasting menu focused on locally sourced ingredients such as Yorkshire Fettle cheese and Cumbrian lamb. Dishes such as North Sea mackerel with summer tomatoes and tarragon, or from the vegetarian tasting menu, smokey turnips, apple and blue cheese custard, are beautifully presented.
At £55 for eight courses, it’s one of Manchester’s more affordable fine-dining tasting menus. A six-course version is available for £40, or indulge in the ten-course menu for £75.
