Pizza Punks Liverpool
Pizza Punks Liverpool brings sourdough anarchy to Bold Street. There’s a joyful glee to the operation but it’s no three-chord wonder. The toppings are varied and well-thought through with quality ingredients belying the scuzzy stylings. San Marzano tomatoes, slow-cooked beef shin ragu, and Tuscan sausage show this is posh punk playing at low-life living.
But who can argue with good pizzas served with energy and passion? It’s great to see an independent like this making its mark on the dynasty of dough. I mean, honestly, why would you eat at Pizza Express when you could head here?
There are craft beers and cocktails, and a great selection of vegan pizzas with gluten-free options too. The desserts are a bit half-hearted but you come here for pizza not pud. If you love it a lot, get their cook-at-home kits delivered and enjoy a pizza party in your PJs.
