Riva Blu Leeds
Riva Blu Leeds, an Italian restaurant on Park Row, used be part of the Gino d’ACampo chain before the north’s own Individual Restaurants group stepped in and gave it one almighty glow-up.
The food, service and setting now gets consistently good ratings online – it’s a popular place and we can see why.
Riva Blu is a stylish, chic restaurant that unashamedly celebrates everyone’s favourite Italian flavours. Think a gooey ball of burrata on a bed of heirloom, pesto-laced tomatoes, sprinkled with fresh basil. Or a super-fresh, thick tuna steak flame-cooked on the grill, or herby parmesan-sprinkled pasta with cured Italian sausage.
It’s a bar too, serving the kind of cocktails you might imagine sipping if you were holidaying in Rome circa 1965. Go for a white peach and nectarine bellini, or a green apple and grapefruit gimlet. With a pavement terrace, views of Greek Street, and a buzzy yet relaxed vibe, it’s a good choice for an afterwork drink or two.
Service is fast and friendly throughout. And it’s all set up for big groups and parties with set menus and a complimentary event co-ordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly.
