Tavern Co Social

Tavern Co Social is the new city centre opening from the popular Smithdown Road operator. It brings cheap eats, live sport and massive breakfasts to Water Street making it a popular destination for matchday meet-ups or next-day recovery sessions.

It’s perfect for students but its daytime offering is aimed at families too with a kids menu and hassle-free food like pizza, pasta and all-day pancake stacks.

Later on it becomes a social as the name suggests with tapas dishes jumping on the picky bits with wine and cocktails trend and live music and weekend entertainment.

The building has grandeur and although Tavern Co Social could do with a bit more of that, at least it’s no longer Hooters. It definitely has a place with a spacious interior and sensible pricing. Hungover stag dos and students will be crawling into its embrace for classic fry up carbs.
