The Picturedrome

The Picturedrome is the Macclesfield spin-off of the popular food hall group behind Altrincham Market Hall, Market House Alty and Manchester’s Mackie Mayor. The team have re-imagined what was the town’s first cinema and it’s now a buzzing meeting spot with coffee, quality booze and food from an eclectic set of kitchen powerhouses.

It’s a rock up and take your chance situation with no bookings but the long tables encourage you to squeeze in and get sociable. If you like more personal space, then maybe the food hall set-up isn’t for you.

The Picturedrome is cool and casual, attracting a wide demographic for everything from Honest Crust pizzas and Rubens mezze plates to Tender Cow burgers and katsu curry chicken from Send Noods.

Drinks come courtesy of Picturedrome Coffee, Reserve Wines (to drink in and take out) and Black Jack Brewery’s Jack in the Box.

With seven kitchens, a chocolatier, great drinks and a busy, slightly frazzled team bringing out the water jugs, there’s something for everyone, and, over the collected menus, vegans and vegetarians are sure to find something to please.
