Wagamama Trafford Centre
Wagamama Trafford Centre is justly popular for its Japanese staples. In fact, Wagamama is popular all over the UK. Almost everyone has their go-to order. Are you a chicken hot pot person or a shirodashi pork belly ramen slurper?
It’s fun, hands-on dining with a reassuringly samey menu no matter where you’re toting those chopsticks. There’s something for everyone with a good selection for vegetarians, vegans, kids and those with gluten-free diets.
Food is fresh and it’s a healthy option when it comes to food-on-the-go. It’s walk-ins only but service is quick. Nourishing bowl food in minutes is the sort of strapline that means Wagamama is always successful. That, and a very good teriyaki beef brisket donburi.
It’s a bit no frills, but there again so is MUJI and it seems to be the epitome of cool homeware. There are fancy Japanese restaurants but you won’t find them at the Trafford Centre. Instead, enjoy the simple pleasures of crispy shredded duck saku saku soba.
