Bada Bing
Bada Bing began life as a pandemic era pop-up before owners Sam and Josh took a few years off. They were content to let it become a happy memory but random people in bars kept telling them to bring Bada Bing back. So in autumn 2024 they did, opening this new place on Oldham Street.
It’s now surely the city’s coolest sandwich shop; it feels like a funky little bar with its bop-able music, downbeat styling, and walls showing off custom artwork and t-shirts. The vibes are immaculate as the young folk probably never say, but that’s not why we’re here.
The Italian-American style subs or hoagies served at Bada Bing have a big reputation thanks to their go-all-out fillings and generous dimensions. Deli meats and fresh salads are combined with well-chosen sauces, marinades and pickles, creating something that truly stands out.
Unlike most sarnie places which are a strictly day-time destination, Bada Bing is open till 8pm during the week and 10pm at weekends. And it’s licensed so you can wash your sub down with a cold Ichnusa beer if you like.
Out in the NQ and suddenly get a hunger on? Head here to refuel and regroup before you hit the bars again.
