The Municipal Hotel – MGallery
The Municipal Hotel – MGallery is Liverpool’s only 5* hotel, and as such, it exudes luxury in every detail.
The bar, the restaurant, the rooms – all of it looks beautiful without being overly decadent. It’s the epitome of quiet luxury. Think thick carpets, polished woods and subtle good taste.
Located in an iconic building, formerly the home of Liverpool City Council (hence the name), period architectural flourishes give a sense of grandeur while lavish modern touches mean every comfort is taken care of.
There is an impressive spa, swimming pool and gym as well as a destination restaurant. Head chef Andrew Green took the helm at the hotel’s Seaforth restaurant in 2024, cementing its reputation for luxurious British classics such as salt-aged Creedy Carver duck with smoked aubergine caviar, sprouting broccoli, blueberry jus, and chive oil. He also serves the poshest dish of Scouse around.
