Department Campfield
Once the Air and Space Gallery at the Science and Industry Museum, upper Campfield Market has been transformed into Department Campfield – a co-working and office space for tech and creative businesses.
This airy, glass roofed workspace opened in summer 2025 and is part of the transformation of the wider St John’s neighbourhood. Inside you’ll find hot desks and individual office spaces centred around a central cafe-bar which is open to the public.
If you love natural light when you work, this place will more than meet your needs. It’s like working in a conservatory (and has the greenery to match). When we visited, it was during their free trial period, so it was perhaps busier than normal. We still had the space, wifi and power sockets we needed to get our work done though.
If you want to hot-desk here you can trial it for a day but then you need to sign up for membership – prices are available on request.
Open: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
