The King Street Townhouse Gym & Spa opened in the summer of 2022 as a subterranean extension of King Street Townhouse hotel, making it one of Manchester centre’s newest city spas, decorated with natural materials and a tactile, calm feel to the interior features.

There are many ways for guests to unwind, from the unique healing experience of the only salt cave in the north of England to the tranquil starlit sauna and thermal suite. Or if sweating it out chills you out, the King Street Townhouse Gym has four designated zones including a cardio zone, functional zone, strength zone and free weights zone — all, fitted with state-of-the-art exercise equipment from Technogym.

The Spa offers treatments from the holistic well-being brand ESPA and is exclusively the only spa in the world to carry Perricone MD treatments. Other beauty services range from waxing, brows, nails and lashes. For nibbles, order from their ‘Cake and Bubbles’ menu which features chef-created desserts paired with sparkling wines and Laurent-Perrier Champagne. One thing to note, King Street Townhouse Gym & Spa is not actually on King Street (though it’s very close by on Booth Street) so bear that in mind when you’re seeking it out.
