International Beatleweek Festival

Festivals

The International Beatleweek Festival draws Beatles fans from all over the world. It’s pretty hardcore too – a full week of live music, a beach trip, an all-nighter and the Annual Beatles Convention. 2024 sees Beatlemania descend once more from Wednesday 21 August to Tuesday 27 August.

Packages range from a few days to the Gold Anthology deluxe experience which covers the full week including all the gigs, the convention, Sunday at The Mathew Street Festival, the all-nighter, the party and free entry to the Cavern Club.

In general, the average age of festivalgoers is a bit higher than other events but if you can handle all-nighters and late-night parties as well as daytime conventions, outdoor festivals and day tripper events at the seaside all in one mad week, you’re made of sterner stuff than us.

This year’s headliners include The Travelling Wilburys and The Overtures. There will also be a tribute concert to Andre Barreau who played George Harrison in the Bootleg Beatles.

There’s live music at The Cavern Club but The Adelphi is the spiritual home of the event with pretty much non-stop partying.

Some events are ticketed and some are only available as part of a package so check before you buy.
