Co-op Live
After a few false starts, Co-op Live, the UK’s biggest indoor arena, opened on 14 May 2024. With a 23,500 capacity and 32 bars, restaurants and lounges, it’s a major new concert venue for Manchester.
Local lads Elbow were the opening act and the first to put the venue’s cutting-edge visual technology and superior sound experience to the test. The lower ceiling, exceptional acoustics and sound bowl design certainly make an impression.
Events and concerts announced for the opening season include the MTV Europe Music Awards, UFC 304, Kings of Leon, Take That, Billie Eilish, and many more.
