Journey to Hell at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Journey to Hell at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a mixture of live action horror thrills, a scare maze and terrifying rides – all as part of a series of gruesome scare zones.
Themes range from supernatural realms to Twisted Tunnels and creepy circus freak shows. The special effects are amazing and new scare zones are added each year or at least have new additions and extra shocks in store.
It’s a multi-sensory experience with unsettling music, sudden loud noises, darkness and live actors jumping out when you least expect.
New for 2025 is ‘Abyss’ – a scare zone in the Pleasure Beach’s 120-year-old River Caves ride, which has been “infested by demons”. Even before the demons took over, the River Caves’ animatronics were unsettling, to say the least. The ride is a favourite of Hollywood horror royalty and Wednesday director, Tim Burton.
You can also include the Pasaje del Terror as part of your experience by upgrading when you book your ticket.
Pasaje del Terror is the UK’s longest-running interactive fright fest which transports guests to a maze of scenes from famous horror films and slasher movies. Casting Director’s clue: you’re playing the victim.
You may think Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a great day out with the kids but these Halloween events are strictly for age ten and over.
