Spooky World
Spooky World comes in three strengths of spookiness. There’s Fun by Day which is all smiling pumpkins and friendly ghosts for small children. Then, there’s Spooky at Night for age ten and over which is basically a diluted version of the main event: Scary at Night.
Scary at Night comprises eight different scare attractions with a narrative behind each one; some are new (like the Squid Games-influenced ‘Channel Zero’), some are extended or improved, and some are Spooky World classics.
From being trapped aboard a sunken ship with zombie pirates to being hunted down in a haunted cornfield where you’re chased until you can’t run any more, Scary at Night mixes set pieces and special effects with live action and drama from the ghostly actors.
It’s not for the faint-hearted. But it is fun watching your faint-hearted friends scream.
When you want a break from being terrified, casual food like burgers and pancakes are served but no booze.
