Waterworld

Activities

Waterworld is Facebook-famous – everyone’s been and everyone raves about it. It’s not cheap but when you compare it to theme parks like Alton Towers, it’s not bad value for a day out. The price includes at least three hours in the water and when it’s not so busy, you can stay as long as you want.

This place differs from other leisure pools in offering both indoor and outdoor pools so you can soak up the sun of the Costa del Stoke, weather permitting.

Inside, there is a huge selection of slides including lots of toddler-friendly ones, some family slides and plenty of white knuckle action for daredevils in cozzies. There’s also gentle bubble pools for relaxing, wave pools for a bit more excitement and rapids to take it one step further.

A good tip: pre-load a rubber payment wristband to buy drinks so you don’t have to face the soggy trek to your locker to get your phone.

There are regular events for visitors with additional needs so check the website if this is something that interests you.

Putt yourself in the mood for all-day fun because there’s also a mini-golf area (paid separately) and you can get both as part of a package deal.
