Heaton Hops
Heaton Hops is a bar and bottle shop in Heaton Moor. The fridges are packed with bottles and cans from breweries across the North and further afield. Despite its relatively small size, you’ll also find eight keg lines and two traditional cask pumps.
The beer is very well kept and the staff are knowledgeable – probably explains why this place has won so many different awards, from CAMRA to MFDF.
Everything’s here, from the usual IPAs, pale ales and lagers to sours, stouts and lambic beer. If it’s not on tap, it will be in the fridge.
Local and local(ish) breweries like Squawk, Rivington Brewing Co, The Lakes Brewing Co and Polly’s Brewing Co are all represented and there are loads of Belgian beers available.
You’ll also find a number of more traditional old-school beers without colourful cans and hipster credentials.
