North Taproom: Circle Square

North Taproom: Circle Square is the Manchester outpost of the beloved North Bar in Leeds. It specialises in craft beer with cold beers in fancy cans, perfectly conditioned cask ales, and in a leftfield move for a brewery, negroni (the cocktail) on tap.

The beer menu is like an extensive wine list with pale ales, porters, pilseners, sours, wheat beers and IPA on tap, as well as cider. You’ll find even more variety in the fridges and there’s always a good choice of alcohol-free beer.

Unsurprisingly, North Taproom: Circle Square showcases the good stuff from its own Leeds-based brewery, North Brewing Co but there is also an impressive selection from other indies.

As if this doesn’t sound heavenly enough, Little Bao Boy look after the kitchens, serving fluffy bao buns, gyoza, loaded fries and noodles from morning till late.
