The Whiskey Jar

The Whiskey Jar, in the heart of Manchester’s cool Northern Quarter, is housed in a stunning Grade II listed building, spread over two floors. With two bars and very comfortable sofas and chairs (we’ve ended up sitting on the lush rugs draped on the floor on more than one occasion).

There’s a fantastic drink selection here, including cocktails, local ales, and, of course, premium whiskeys, The Whiskey Jar is also a versatile event space. Its downstairs event area is perfect for private parties, weddings, work parties, birthdays and more. It really is one of the Northern Quarter’s best all-in-one venues.
