The Oriel Bar
The Oriel Bar might be the only place in Liverpool where you can get a beard trim and a round of beers, both at the same time.
It’s part of Oriel Close Barbershop but it’s a proper bar in its own right with warm wood fittings, bar stools and comfy low-slung chairs. They even have Guinness on draught as well as shelves and shelves of other tempting tipples.
Oriel Close is full of character and this translates perfectly to The Oriel Bar too. It’s light and airy making it the ideal place for a few drinks after your short back and sides.
Everyone’s welcome – not just barbershop customers. It’s a real labour of love with personal thought in every detail, from the design to the drinks. There’s a cool early-twentieth century look to the place which fits in well with the Grade I Listed beauty of Oriel Chambers.
Hair of the dog, anyone?
