Port Street Beer House

Port Street Beer House is the beer lover’s NQ drinking spot. It’s somewhere between a pub and a bar, mixing a dedication to coolest craft ales with some very comfy traditional touches. Ideal for a pint and a chat. Or a schooner, if you prefer.

After all, with 18 keg lines and seven cask lines as well as a fridgeful of bottles and cans from some of the best local and international breweries, there’s plenty of beer to work your way through.

Although they’re serious about beer at Port Street Beer House, you don’t have to be. Staff are helpful and offer tasters of what’s on offer so you can find what suits you – no ale fails at this gaff.

As well as beer there are regular events like meet the brewer sessions, launch parties with local craft indies and a regular quiz night on Wednesdays.

It’s not just Confidential Guides that rates Port Street Beer House. This Northern Quarter establishment is a regular in national round-ups of the best craft beer bars and always gets good reviews from ‘proper’ beer folk – the likes of Untappd, RateBeer and CAMRA.

Beer is available to take home too. But stay for a drink to experience Port Street Beer House at its best.
