The Molly House
With its pretty Tiffany lights and Victoriana decor, The Molly House pub is one of The Gay Village’s best-looking venues. It’s also one of its best places to eat (McTucky’s excepted) thanks to its contemporary menu of well-considered tapas. Breadcrumb-covered asparagus dipped in tahini dressing for example, and sea bass with fennel and chilli.
The goods behind the bar are high quality too; The Molly House won the CAMRA ‘Pub of the Year’ Award for central Manchester in 2023. Real ales on draft often include local breweries such as Mallinsons and Red Willow. It also has a great wine list and does an impressive line in cocktails. The outdoor terrace hidden away on the first floor is the perfect spot to enjoy them.
