Misù
Misù is a sweet little cafe in Stretford in the new pedestrianised area where the unlovely mall once sat. Tiramisù is having a moment and fancy tiramisù in a little tray is having an even bigger one so it’s looking good for Misù.
The packaging is neat; a dinky little box with a sliding drawer featuring a tiramisù in precise layers. Choose from traditional options like classic and intenso which gets my vote because of its stronger coffee hit. Non-traditionalists might prefer strawberry matcha, chocolate, mango, pistachio, Biscoff, lemon or white chocolate with hazelnut.
The dessert design runs through the cafe with the rich indulgent colours and an undulating stripe running across the counter and the bench seating to represent the layers of the tiramisù. It’s a bit rough around the edges with concrete pillars and exposed brickwork somewhere between NQ bar vibe and slightly unfinished.
Nevertheless, it’s a lovely place to treat yourself to something sweet. Enjoy it with a simple coffee or go big with seasonal specials like brown sugar cinnamon matcha or toffee nut latte.
