Baltic Market
Liverpool’s Baltic Market is the city’s first food hall, built on the redeveloped Cains Brewery site. Food comes from top local traders including Spice Thai, Listo Burrito, and Nashville Cluck. Head to MMA champ Molly McCann’s Polpetta for subs, pasta and sides, and to Richies for burgers, nuggets and loaded fries. There’s Hafla Hafla for Middle Eastern kebabs, Little Furnace for pizza and The Midnight Delivery for gooey chocolatey desserts.
La Bistroteca offers another option away from casual street food with its more refined take on European bistro-style cooking.
There are also plenty of beer and cocktails which are an integral part of the party feel. It’s the sort of place where there’s always a buzz and a carnival atmosphere thanks to live music, retro-themed quizzes, stand-up comedy and football on big screens.
You can’t book so when it’s busy you just have to circle and see whose fettuccine is nearly finished before you swoop.
