Chotto Matte
Chotto Matte brings more high-rise, high-glam energy to Manchester. With stunning city views and swish Nikkei cuisine, it’s a place to see and be seen with instagrammable small plates bedecked with tiny flowers and chic cocktails.
With bold artwork and DJs at the weekend, Chotto Matte straddles the border of dining and disco, making the restaurant, and accompanying sky bar, a night out rather than just a meal.
The food is a fusion of Japanese dishes and Peruvian ingredients where the focus is on an upscale experience. Choose from a mix of small plates, meats from the robata grill and raw seafood. Typical dishes include tuna tostada with wasabi mayo and jalapeño, warm beef tataki with South American touches in the smoked chilli paste and passion fruit salsa, and marinated smoked lamb chop with coriander and Peruvian chilli miso.
