Cooper Hall
Cooper Hall is a European-style beer hall below Sevendale House on Dale Street in the Northern Quarter. The offering is simple: tank beer and hot dogs. If you’re looking for somewhere with lots of space for a crowd, craft ales, and some cheap food too, this is it.
At the bar, they serve Pilsner Urquell fresh from the tank, and a range of craft beers on tap and in bottles, including local favourites such as Manchester Union lager. Soak up the booze with a bargain hot dog, then get another pint in. It’s that type of place.
There’s large screen TVs, live music, and a regular Saturday night disco, Pablo Disco Bar, with free entry. There’s nothing too fancy about Cooper Hall – it’s a big, NQ booze hall that’s perfect for a night out with a group when you don’t want to pay over the odds for drinks and food.
As such, it’s very popular, especially at the weekends. Go in the week if you’re looking for a quieter pint.
