GRUB Stretford

GRUB Stretford is the latest location for the food traders who know how to party. It takes a multi-storey car park and turns it into a food, drink and events destination. When even the car parks are cool, you know Stretford is on the up.

There’s a bar and a regularly changing line-up of purveyors including Wong’s Dumplings, Wagyu Lookin’ At? and Bakehouse 32.

GRUB Stretford is not just about the food, excellent though that is. It’s all about the atmosphere. During the day, just across from the cinema, it’s a family hangout with kid-friendly events and pop-up markets and DJs and local acts.

Later on, it’s a top night out with DJs, live music and weekend energy.

The great thing about GRUB Stretford is it already feels like part of the community. It was packed for the World Cup screenings in the summer and that atmosphere of Stretford coming together continues.

Wear a coat though. It’s under cover because it’s a car park but it’s not exactly indoors.
