Puccini
Puccini has been serving up authentic Italian food to the people of Swinton since 1982, with signor Pucci at the helm for the full four decades.
Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs are regulars here; they even have their own pasta dishes named after them. Penne with chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes and a touch of cream for Gary, and penne with minced fillet steak, tomato, cream and chilli for Ryan, in case you’re wondering.
It’s good value, especially at lunch time when a two course meal on the special board is just £12.95. Make it three courses for an extra £4.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an authentic Italian restaurant without traditional sweet treats like tiramisu and panna cota. Wash them down with a glass (or two) of wine from their extensive list.
