Rudy’s Pizza Chorlton
Rudy’s Pizza Chorlton is a relaxed outpost of the popular homegrown Manchester mini-chain of independent Napoli pizza masters.
Expect the usual Rudy’s schtick of quality pizzas and not much else. It doesn’t matter – the pizza is the star of the show. With classic toppings made from quality ingredients, Rudy’s prove that sticking to one thing and doing it well is the way to go. It’s better to be a master of one trade than a jack of all.
Popular toppings include the vegetarian Portobello with mushroom and basil also available as a white pizza and the Salame.
Pizzas aside, there are a few bits and pieces like olives, Caesar salad and rum baba but everyone goes for the pizzas which are made from top Italian flour, San Marzano tomatoes and blasted in the specialist hand-built ovens.
As well as great pizzas, Rudy’s get the casual atmosphere just right, helped no doubt by the cocktails, beer and wine which are a cut above what you might expect in a local pizzeria.
