Six by Nico Deansgate
Six by Nico Deansgate is the second Manchester opening for the hit fine-dining concept from Scottish-Italian chef and owner Nico Simeone.
Known for changing its six-course tasting menu every six weeks, Six by Nico’s dishes are inspired by memories, places, or imagination – and each one is kept secret until two weeks before it’s launched.
The six courses on the opening menu ‘Cooking Tokyo’ include chicken karaage with crispy thigh, togarashi (a Japanese seven-spice mix), and oroshi shoga ginger. There’s also tonkatsu with panko pork cutlet, glazed belly, cabbage, hokkaido pumpkin and yakitori ham jam. A vegetarian version of each menu is available.
The experience is priced at £39 or £69 with matching wine making it one of the most affordable tasting menus in Manchester.
