Sixes Social Cricket opened in the Corn Exchange in August 2021, bringing a different kind of sporting experience to Manchester City Centre. Already a popular concept down south, Manchester might not be quite as bowled over with Cricket as it is with football, but don’t let that stop you.
From cricketing novices through to the professionals, simply grab a bat, select your level and you’ll be swinging for the boundaries in no time. Cutting-edge technology bowls out soft cricket balls, with points scored depending on which targets you hit. The perfect all-action, high-adrenaline activity for corporate events, nights out or family battles. Or Channel your inner Jimmy Anderson with the bowling simulator that has you bowling balls at a virtual batter or practising fielding throws.
The food at Sixes is an interesting mix of British gastro-style pub food with culinary influences from the cricketing nations woven through. Coronation bubble and squeak pakoras with mango chutney feature as a starter alongside butter chicken tikka skewers.
Burgers make up the mains menu with names like Beefy Botham, Delhi Smasher and Sydney Shrimp King to really immerse you in the cricketing world.
