Smoke

Smoke is a modern restaurant that’s a mix of cool design, wine bar and relaxed cafe-style menu of small plates and sharing boards. The thing that really sets this place apart is its partnership with the award-winning Cheshire Smokehouse so you know that the produce is some of the best in the county.

The look is relatively industrial for Wilmslow with exposed brick, metalwork and girders and there is a fantastic first floor terrace. It’s a far cry from the cosy farmhouse vibe of the Smokehouse itself.

There is an excellent wine list which is exactly what you need to pair with the sharing boards of charcuterie, smoked fish and continental cheeses. Small plates vary from things like baked camembert to Iberian ham croquettes or Cheshire smoked halloumi.

Scandi hot dogs and a vast array of cheese toasties are the big hits at lunchtime while the quality of the Smokehouse bacon means Smoke is always going to be one of Cheshire’s best spots for brunch.
