In 1985, Manchester launched its first gay pride – a fully inclusive event celebrating members of the LGBTQ+ community and paying homage to the unapologetic trailblazers who had paved the way. Since then, the festival and its celebration of love has continued to grow, attracting people from far and wide and empowering them to come together and stand for what they believe in.
Whether you’re coming to Manchester Pride to let your hair down and party, to fly the flag for LGBTQ+ rights or, perhaps, a bit of both, this is a place to be unashamedly, unapologetically you.
From hotels a stone’s throw away from the all-new Mardi Gras extravaganza, to those right in the thick of it on Canal Street, here are our hand-picked hotels for Manchester Pride 2025. Every one of them will be rolling out the rainbow carpet and many have special offers for Pride visitors.
Book your room sooner rather than later; this event attracts tens of thousands of revellers and campaigners from across the UK and even further afield so hotels fill up fast.
