In 1985, Manchester launched its first gay pride – a fully inclusive event celebrating members of the LGBTQ+ and paying homage to unapologetic trailblazers that had paved the way. Since then, the festival and celebration of love has continued to grow, attracting people from far and wide and empowering them to come together and stand for what they believe in.
Whether you’re visiting Manchester Pride to let your hair down and party, or to learn more about the LGBTQ+ history of Manchester, don’t forget to be unashamedly you.
From hotels a stone’s throw away from the celebration, to those right in the thick of it on Canal Street, here are the best places to stay for Manchester Pride 2024.
