Bodywise Natural Health Centre
Head upstairs from the Manchester Buddhist Centre and you’ll find an equally calm and harmonious space; the Bodywise Natural Health Centre.
It offers a range of alternative and holistic therapies including acupuncture, massage, reflexology and homeopathy in three well-presented treatment rooms.
Most people know it for its light-filled studio which hosts a regular timetable of yoga and movement classes including baby yoga, pregnancy yoga, pilates, tai chi and qi gong. They also run more in-depth courses at the weekends and one-to-one sessions.
Downstairs in the Buddhist Centre shop you can buy various yoga-related equipment including mats, eye pillows and belts. There’s also a cafe down there, Tibetan Kitchen, where you can enjoy Tibetan and Himalayan style vegetarian dishes – the the perfect way to refuel after your class.
