Rena Spa at The Midland
The Rena Spa at The Midland Hotel is many local people’s first-choice for a spa day in the city centre, and for good reason.
It stands out not just because of its grand hotel setting on St Peter’s Square. The facilities include a dreamy swimming pool, a revitalising thermal suite, a gym, and a hushed relaxation room complete with private sleep pods which gently sway you into a state of serenity.
The treatment rooms are equally luxurious and secluded. Choose from facials and massages using Parisian natural beauty brand Caudalie, holistic therapies such as hopi ear candles, and a limited range of beauty services including manicures and pedicures.
Their spa days usually include a glass of champagne and a light lunch or afternoon tea in the spa cafe (so there’s no need to change out of your robe and slippers). They’re actually half days – 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm but the four hour duration is long enough for most.
It’s not just Mancunian spa fans who love it here – the Rena Spa at The Midland has won a ton of awards including the Best Urban Spa from the Good Spa Guide, and Best Luxury Urban Escape (Northern Europe) in the World Luxury Spa Awards
